The Early Childhood Education Center at St. Mary's School allows the young child the means to learn and grow in a positive, Catholic atmosphere.  It is designed to provide the child with many enjoyable activities throughout the year while encouraging spiritual, social, intellectual and physical growth.  Contact 689-8424 for more information.

Three-year old program

Tuesday and Thursday

Morning session -  9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Afternoon session - 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Four-year old program

Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Morning session - 8:20 a.m. - 10:50 p.m.

Afternoon session - 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

What Makes Our Program Unique:

1. Unique religious instruction daily - The children develop an awareness of God's World around them and how special they are.

2. FOSPA is a family-oriented pre-school program for all four-year-old children and their families.  Offered 5 times throughout the year, parents come to the classroom to work individually with their children to develop 6 basic skill areas.

3. Music - Children are offered musical growth on a daily basis in the classroom.

4. Trips - All ghree and four-year-olds participate in fun and intellectually enriching field trips.

5. Readiness Skills - Math, reading and lauguage development skills are introduced to three and four-year-olds.  We utilize the Macmillan/McGraw Hill Reading Series.  Through the use of learning centers, big books, rhyme, poetry, and group activities, the pre-schooler will develop their oral language, vocabulary, phonological and phonetic awareness.  An awareness of print and books, comprehension, alphabet knowledge, drawing and writing will be developed.

6. Mathematics Pre-K - Through songs, posters and other activities, the children will explore sorting, classifying, counting and other skills.

7. Weekly Reader - Provided for all four-year-olds.

Families must provide their own transportation. 

2010-2011 TUITION RATES:

PARISHIONERS:

Three-year-old program: $820 per year.

Four-year-old program: $950 per year.

Non-refundable registration fee of $50 is payable at time of registration.

NON-PARISHIONERS:

If space is available, non-parishioners will be accepted.

Three-year-old program:  $935 per year.

Four-year-old program:  $1,065 per year.

Families with two childen in ECE or one in ECE and another at St. Mary's will receive a $100 discount.
