Art Club Wins People’s Choice Award at Art Alive! 2019

Congratulations to St. Mary’s Art Club, who represented our school at The Albright-Knox Art Gallery’s outdoor exhibition and contest Art Alive! 2019 on Saturday June 1st! The entry “The Marvelous Sauce” (Jehan Georges Vibert, ca. 1890) won The People’s Choice Award for Best Tableau Grades K-8 and will be featured at the Erie County Fair this summer!

Other entries were well-received by the public and the judges as they took photos and commented on the creativity of our talented artists! Congratulations to all!

Many thanks to Mrs. Genovese and Mr. Mangione for their support and guidance, and to the families of our artists who helped with the event!
