Sr. Sheila Anne Burke, OSF, whom the Tournament is named in memory of, was the beloved principal at St. Mary School for many years. She died suddenly in June of 2014, but was a selfless servant and friend who dedicated her life to Catholic education and generations of students at St. Mary School. Sr. Sheila was also a staunch supporter of athletics, including basketball.

🏀❄️ SISTER SHEILA TOURNAMENT UPDATE: With a travel advisory in effect because of the lake effect weather system moving through our region today and into the next few days, this will affect travel of our teams, especially from the Southtowns as well as our referee.

Out of an abundance of caution we are postponing tonight's finals games. Once a new date and time are confirmed for the games we will let everyone know. Stay safe and warm everyone!

Boys JV Championship Bracket:

It was a sweet Championship Sunday for Notre Dame Academy as they took home the trophy in the JV Boys division of the 2025 Sister Sheila Tournament! St. Amelia School Blue made a valiant effort and we congratulate both teams on making it to the final!

Boys JV Consolation Bracket:

Saint Benedict School won in a nail-biter vs the St. Amelia School Gold team in the Consolation Bracket of the 2025 Sister Sheila Tournament! It was a back-and-forth game, & both teams definitely played hard, gave it their all, & should be proud of the effort they put forth!
