SMS Spring Musical
Tonight in front of a packed gymnasium, St. Mary School students put on a fantastic show! The SMS Drama Club has been working hard the past few months on their production of The Little Mermaid Jr., and it was evident from the stellar performances tonight.

Each student brought something special to their role, whether it was Maeve Langdon’s beautiful voice as Ariel, Samantha Campanella’s expressive acting as Flounder, or Samantha Zgoda’s stage presence as the formidable Ursula. Adam Ferrelli wowed the crowd as Sebastian, and Joey Amedio got big laughs with his tap dancing and antics as Scuttle. Michael Noah was expertly cast as Prince Eric, while Avril Ashworth and Ashley Zielinski complimented the sea witch Ursula with their harmonies and electrifying costumes. Aiden Charland made an excellent King Triton, and Colton Howe cracked up the crowd as Chef Louis in his scene with Sebastian. Abigail Millich, Brayden Colaiacovo, Kingston Papke, and Jackson Sendlak rounded out the talent in their supporting roles, as did the lovely Mersisters; Anna Ando, Meghan Carver, Gianna Charland, Maggie Glenn, Lillian Wadhams, and Grace Washo.

Even some of our youngest SMS students got in on the musical fun as participants in the guppy choir during the musical numbers “Under the Sea”, and “Kiss the Girl”. Congratulations to all on an amazing performance tonight.

An extra special thank you goes out to our dedicated creative team of staff: Mr. Sean Polen, Miss Liz Sanderson, and Mrs. Allison Schnackel.  Our students wouldn’t have this amazing opportunity to learn and perform without you!

There is still one more performance tomorrow evening, Saturday, April 13th at 7 PM, a limited number of tickets will be available at the door but will go fast.
