It's been a while since we've had a #StaffSpotlightSaturday, and we thought it only appropriate to feature Mr. Don as we keep him in our prayers during his continued recovery!

Get to know our beloved Facilities Manager a bit better by reading through his answers to our spotlight questionnaire below.

Family: My family includes my fiance Stacy, two sons, one daughter and one stepdaughter.

Hobbies/Talents: Fishing, boating, camping

If you started a business, what would it be? Landscaping

What is your #1 goal in life? To solve problems

What are 3 words you'd use to describe yourself? Motivated, personable, kind.

Favorite memory: My mom & dad belonging to St. Mary's for 60 years

Favorite sport to watch: Football

What's the most relaxing part of your day? When I can talk to parishioners about life in general.

If you had the opportunity to know the future, what would you want to know? The end of the world.

What's your favorite kind of weather? Sunny and 75 degrees!

What else would you like to tell us? I grew up down the road from St. Mary's with my Mom and Dad, who were parishioners of St. Mary's for over 60 years. My Mom graduated from St. Mary School and sang in the choir for over 60 years. I have a twin brother, we both went to St. Mary School, however we graduated from Dodge Elementary. I started working for St. Mary's after my Mom passed in 2015. I started as a Maintenance Technician and after two years became Facilities Manager. I have a fiance, Stacy, and we have been together for 10 years. Stacy has one daughter and I have two boys and a girl. I love to camp on the weekends, as well as boat and fish. I like to watch football on Sundays with family, and I have five brothers and one sister.
