Our Drama Club put on an absolutely amazing spring musical under the direction of their extraordinary advisor, Mrs. Lauren Baker this past weekend. Crowds were wowed at three shows on March 6th & 7th, at St. Mary School Swormville.

Mrs. Baker recalled that some of her sweetest childhood memories were of watching Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and learning the songs alongside her mom. She shared:

"The music, the color, and the joy of this show captured my heart at a young age, but it was the deeper message of trust, forgiveness, and unwavering faith that has stayed with me ever since."

At its core, Joseph’s story is one of God’s plans for all of us. Even in moments of jealousy, betrayal, and uncertainty, there is a greater plan unfolding. Joseph’s steadfast faith, his ability to forgive his brothers, and his courage to trust in God’s promises reflect the very values we strive to live each day at St. Mary’s. This story reminds us that our gifts are given for a purpose, that hardships can shape us for something greater, and that love and mercy always have the final word.

Mrs. Baker shared that she hopes this experience of learning the songs, rehearsing, and giving their performances their all, becomes a cherished memory for her students, just as this show has always been for her.

Mrs. Baker would like to thank:
