Join us for Montessori Summer Adventures for rising Pre-K3 - 1st graders, or Summer STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art & Math) for rising 2nd - 6th graders at St. Mary School!

Camps like those offered at SMS over the summer offer parents additional child care options, as well as a solution to a concerning phenomenon known as "the summer slide". The summer slide is the tendency for students to lose academic skills and knowledge over the extended summer break when they are not engaged in regular educational activities. Research has shown that students can lose up to two months of grade-level equivalency in math and reading skills over the summer. This can have a significant impact on students’ academic performance and long-term success. Educational camps assure that children stay engaged, active, and learning throughout the summer break, and have the opportunity to explore new concepts, develop critical thinking skills, and unleash their creativity in a supportive environment.

Montessori Summer Adventures!
Monday - Friday, 9 am - 12 pm | Open to rising Pre-K3 - 1st graders | $175 per child, per week
Join us in the Montessori Children’s House for one or more of three exciting sessions! Young adventurers will have access to fun & creative Montessori activities, snack, and time outside each day.
If you are interested in a Montessori style Pre-K or Kindergarten experience for your child, the Montessori Summer Adventures are a wonderful way to preview our Montessori Children’s House and let your child experience all that St. Mary School Swormville has to offer! Summer STREAM!
Monday - Friday, 9 am - 12 pm | Open to rising 2nd - 6th graders | $175 per child, per week
Each week will focus on a central theme and incorporate the main principles of STREAM. Students will participate in various hands-on activities that promote communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. Minimum of 10 registered students to run each week.

WEEK 2: Mon., June 29th - Fri., July 3rd, Ancient Innovations
WEEK 3: Mon., July 6th - Fri., July 10th, Everyday Chemistry
