We're celebrating the SMS #Classof2024 all summer long! ššš¤š First up is our Valedictorian... Abigail M. started at SMS in Kindergarten and served as 8th grade Class Co-President this year. She has been on our swimming, track, soccer, basketball, & volleyball teams, as well as in the art & drama clubs, & has participated as an altar server & in band. Abigail is a member of the National Junior Honor Society & was on the school math team. Abigail has chosen to attend Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart where she received the St. Francis Scholarship & the Faculty and Staff Scholarship. She also received a scholarship for receiving the second highest score on the Catholic High School Entrance Exam! Some of Abigail's fondest memories of SMS include performing in school plays & musicals, & seeing friends every day. Best of luck to you Abigail & may God bless you! #SMStheplacetoBEE
Courtney Riel, SMS class of '22, just completed her sophomore year at Sacred Heart Academy. She is an active member of HOSA Future Health Professionals, which is an international career and technical student organization that focuses on promoting career opportunities in the health care industry. In March Courtney traveled to Syracuse & participated at the state level for Sports Medicine. She placed 2nd & earned a spot to compete in Sports Medicine events at the international level taking place this week in Houston, Texas! There are about 10,000 participants at the international level, some coming as far away as Korea. Good luck Courtney, we know you will do great! #buzzworthy #SMSalumni #sportsmedicine #HOSA
