🏀❄️ SISTER SHEILA TOURNAMENT UPDATE: With a travel advisory in effect because of the lake effect weather system moving through our region today and into the next few days, this will affect travel of our teams, especially from the Southtowns as well as our referee.

Out of an abundance of caution we are postponing tonight's finals games. Once a new date and time are confirmed for the games we will let everyone know. Stay safe and warm everyone!

❄️🏀 The icy weather outdoors last night didn't stop the court from heating up inside during the Sister Sheila JV tournament! A fantastic first round of games were played, with teams giving it their all & providing some entertaining contests to watch. The following teams came out with a win, but all teams will be back this am for the bracket semifinals:

🎅🏼🦌 Our grade 3 enrichment students had a very special meeting with one of Santa's own ELVES! The Chief Engineer from the North Pole Institute for Technology called in to Mrs. Larson's classroom to review the “super secret” Christmas projects the students have been working on. Their task was to create something to help Santa’s sick reindeer deliver presents this year, & they did an amazing job! One group created a hang-glider for the sleigh to help the reindeer stay aloft if tired, while another envisioned a new cargo hold system to improve the sleigh's aerodynamics. Students even had the chance to ask the Chief Engineer some questions about life at the North Pole. Wonderful job all!
