❄️🐧 Miss Gon's Kindergarten class embraced the snow & cold to do their monthly writing piece on penguins, as well as completed a penguin directed drawing. They also finished up math units on addition & subtraction with a paper snowball fight - Kindergarten is SNOW much fun!

Our Kindergartners "got the download" on a lot of great skills & information in Technology class today! They discussed proper handling of their Chromebooks, logged into Google classroom, & practiced using the track-pad by creating pictures.

There are #TURKEYS hiding in our hallways! Miss Gon's Kindergarten class is helping turkeys evade the oven this Thanksgiving by dressing them up in disguises! Each student chose how to disguise their turkey, gave it a name, & wrote a description of their disguise. Their creative ideas included a hockey player, ballerina, bee, princess, Harry Potter, unicorn, Barbie, policeman, fox, mummy & bag of popcorn! We think these clever costumes are going to help the turkeys continue to "gobble gobble" well past next week! Which one is your favorite?

#Kindergarten has been getting into the #SpookySeason & working in groups to create 3-D #Math pumpkins! Each group chose a lucky number, then showed the number in different ways; written out, counted out, or in a tens frame. They also had a chance to create a fun #pumpkin face!
Our #Kindergartners have a new ghostly friend in class watching to see if they are being good! "Spooks" is a friendly little ghost who moves around the room overnight, & students look for him each morning. They even made some glue-y ghosts of their own to decorate! #halloween
