Some of our 8th grade students spent time this week reading to friends in our #Montessori Children's House. "Reading Buddy" programs like ours benefit both the older & younger students by providing opportunities to become role models & mentors, enhancing confidence, developing social-emotional skills, improving literacy & listening skills, encouraging responsibility, & creating a stronger school community. #readingbuddies

Yesterday we had an extra cute & fluffy little visitor for the feast of St. Francis! Students & staff enjoyed snuggling with Miss Krista's newest addition to the family, "Benny"! The Montessori floor made a great place for a nap after all the fun. #stfrancis #puppylove
Today is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of #animals & the #environment. In honor of the feast, Father Art visited classrooms today after school Mass to bless stuffed animals & pet photos that students brought in with a generous dose of Holy Water!
