For the final day of our #STREAM Rainforest Camp, campers took inspiration from the rubber trees in the Amazon rainforest and made "rubber" with Mrs. Witkowski, then went on a #rainforest webquest! Thank you to our amazing teachers who made this #camp so fun & educational!

Courtney Riel, SMS class of '22, just completed her sophomore year at Sacred Heart Academy. She is an active member of HOSA Future Health Professionals, which is an international career and technical student organization that focuses on promoting career opportunities in the health care industry. In March Courtney traveled to Syracuse & participated at the state level for Sports Medicine. She placed 2nd & earned a spot to compete in Sports Medicine events at the international level taking place this week in Houston, Texas! There are about 10,000 participants at the international level, some coming as far away as Korea. Good luck Courtney, we know you will do great! #buzzworthy #SMSalumni #sportsmedicine #HOSA

Rising grade 3-6 students were busy learning in our #STREAM Rainforest Summer Camp today. They built the tallest trees out of building blocks, made fruit & pretzel trees for snack, and "snakes" in art class, all the while learning about the layers of the #rainforest. 🌴🦥🦋

We had some "little bees" hard at work this am in our #Montessori Summer Adventures camp! This week's theme is Nature & Insects. Students explored the work in our Montessori room, played outside, & tomorrow will take a nature walk to look for and observe insects! 🐝🦋🐞

SUMMER IS HERE! Just a reminder that Summer Office Hours begin this week. The school office will be open from 8am-2pm Tuesday-Thursday. Regular office hours will resume at the end of August. ☀️😎 We hope the summer months are relaxing and rejuvenating for all of our school families, teachers & staff. Enjoy this “Summer Blessing for Families” prayer, courtesy of The Catholic Review:
May we make our homes places of relaxation,
joy, love, peace and safety.
May we be generous and considerate,
not thinking only about ourselves,
but helping others enjoy the blessings of the summertime.
Lord God, Creator of all things,
guide our steps and strengthen our hearts
during these months of summer and vacation days.
Grant us refreshment of mind and body.
May we constantly strive to make a meaningful difference
in the lives of our loved ones and in the world around us
as we enjoy the warm days of summertime.
AMEN
