We have active Boy Scout, Girl Scout, Cub Scout, Daisy & Brownie troops here at SMS! A few weeks ago these Girl Scouts took a trip to the Buffalo Zoo to learn about the variety of animals there, including the ocelot that they adopted! #scouting #girlscouts

Primary students practiced their "church etiquette" this week, and the third graders got to explore the church: vestments, vessels, holy oils, the tabernacle, and our beautiful statues. #religion #catholiceducation #exploringfaith

Our entire student body was sorted out into groups, each represented by a Saint and led by one of our teachers. These mixed-grade-level Faith Families will sit together at Friday school Mass, take turns leading the liturgy, and work together for special projects and events like Catholic Schools Week, Spirit Week & our end of year HSA Picnic. Mrs. Witkowski's grade 3, 4 & 5 science students got the year started with a bounce!🥚They performed "bouncy egg experiments" to study #chemicalreactions, & the parts of an egg. By soaking an egg in vinegar the eggshell dissolves, leaving just the membrane. #scienceisfun
