Our facilities and maintenance department has been taking advantage of the warm, sunny weather this week to have the steps at the side entrance of the school repaired. Did you know that portions of the current school building date back to 1931? #stmarys175 #sunshine

SMS students showed their hometown team spirit today by dressing in Bills gear/colors. Funds raised from this dress-down day go towards a monthly "teacher lunch" to recognize our teachers and staff for all of their hard work . #letsgobuffalo #gobills #teamspirit

"St. Mary's has given my daughter the tools and the confidence she needs to perform her best. The staff's dedication to each and every student is unprecedented. My only regret is that we didn't come here sooner! “ -SMS Alumni Parent

Miss Reeves' sixth grade science students explored a portion of the evidence in support of the Big Bang Theory by using a balloon and measuring distances from set points as they inflated it. This lab is part of their study on scientific theories about the origin of the universe and reinforcing the need for evidential support when claims are made.

Our SMS Athletic Director, Mr. Reeds, accepted a 25M freestyle swim race challenge against Aiden and Jackson (grade 8) and Kingston (grade 6). What a memorable end to the last season practice for swim! Click on the link for the photo finish....https://youtu.be/ktxVNc-FjiM

For this week's #ThrowbackThursday, we take a look at what the St. Mary's Home School Association (HSA) was up to back in Dec. of 1987. Parent volunteers were, and still are a huge part of the culture and success of SMS! #stmarys175
