🥚 🐣 🐥 It's Day 1 of 21 for Montessori Chick Hatching! Students are learning all about the life cycle of a chicken, & today put 12 eggs into an incubator where they will stay until they hatch in 21 days. The children (& teachers!) are so excited for our eggs to hatch!

Not only do we have the BEST TEAM EVER of teachers & staff at SMS, but we have the BEST FAMILIES EVER! Our faculty lounge was brimming with snacks & school supplies today in honor of #TeacherAppreciationWeek & #CincoDeMayo ! Teachers picked up grab n' go nachos with toppings & drinks for themselves, & supplies for their classrooms thanks to the generosity of a local organization.

🐝 Our JV Bees triumphed against St. Amelia’s on Sun., Eli Z. & Gabriel P. both had hat tricks & helped the Bees to victory in their first outing this season. Once the final whistle blew, SMS had scored 9 goals & was covered head to toe in mud. Congrats Bees! #JVSoccer #goBees

⚽️ Our grade 3/4 soccer teams both won their games this weekend! Team Rivera opened up the season with a win over St. Peter's with a final score of 7-2, while Team Terrill outhustled St. Amelia's with a 9-6 victory. Both teams worked hard & braved the rainy weather- congrats!
