We're going GAGA over here! A brand new Gaga Ball pit has been a welcome addition to recess & gym classes at SMS. Colin Terrill, St. Mary's parishioner & soon-to-be Eagle Scout in St. Mary’s Troop #92, led this Eagle Project with funding from various St. Mary's groups, including St. Mary School HSA and Knights of Columbus - St. Mary’s Council 17530. Several scouts and adult volunteers worked on building it this past summer so it would be ready for the start of the school year. We have active Boy Scout, Girl Scout, Cub Scout, Daisy & Brownie troops here at SMS! A few weeks ago these Girl Scouts took a trip to the Buffalo Zoo to learn about the variety of animals there, including the ocelot that they adopted! #scouting #girlscouts

The funds donated to Catholic Charities were raised through our annual Pray & Play event held during Lent, in which grade 5 puts on the Living Stations of the Cross for the "Pray" portion, and Grade 7 creates homemade carnival games for all of our students to pay to participate in for the "Play" portion of the evening.
