Everyone did quite well guessing who was who in our staff school photo game! There are a couple that no one guessed yet however, plus a new addition so we're re-posting for some more fun... can you guess who these three blondies are??

Reminder - tomorrow is Red Ribbon Day! ❤️ Students may dress in red shirts & socks with their uniforms in support of Red Ribbon Week, the nation's largest and longest-running drug-use prevention campaign. Students do not need to pay to participate in this special dress day.

Last week students in grades 1-5 learned about care for creation, one of the principles of Catholic social teaching. The 2nd graders reflected on their favorite part of creation, while our 4th graders made leaf etchings and included a Bible quote about God's creation. #FAITH

Our 8th graders started their community service projects for the year by helping out Mr. Don and Mr. John with some Fall campus cleanup! #fallcleanup #Classof2025 #SERVICE

It was a busy last Friday night at SMS! Our families came out in costume for #TrunkorTreat then many stayed to watch the Girls' Varsity #Volleyball team battle in their last doubleheader home game of the season. Congratulations to all of our 8th grade lady "Cougar-Bees"! Click the links to see more photos of both events:

💙📸🤍🐝 We've loved seeing so many SMS parents share their children's' school photos on social media this weekend, that we thought we'd share a few of our own! Can you match the SMS teacher/staff member to their school photo?

Something haunted this way comes! Grade 5 students have been having a spook-tacular time creating these haunted houses (and stadiums, and boats) in art class lately. Check out their handiwork!

Yay - it's the weekend! 🍂🍁 Our students have been getting outside as much as they can the past few weeks, during recess & throughout the day, to enjoy the beauty of God's creation with the changing seasons. Our campus looks lovely with so many beautiful trees dressed for Fall!

Mrs. Picone's first grade friends practiced their addition and subtraction facts with a Halloween board game! There were SO many winners because they are INCREDIBLE mathematicians! ➕➖🟰❤️

Mrs. Laderer's fifth graders were excited to present their narrative writings to the class! They practiced being terrific audience members, providing positive feedback to those who shared. They cannot wait for our next writing assignment!

Some of our 8th grade students spent time this week reading to friends in our #Montessori Children's House. "Reading Buddy" programs like ours benefit both the older & younger students by providing opportunities to become role models & mentors, enhancing confidence, developing social-emotional skills, improving literacy & listening skills, encouraging responsibility, & creating a stronger school community. #readingbuddies

#Kindergarten has been getting into the #SpookySeason & working in groups to create 3-D #Math pumpkins! Each group chose a lucky number, then showed the number in different ways; written out, counted out, or in a tens frame. They also had a chance to create a fun #pumpkin face!

First grade logged onto their Chromebooks for the first time in #Technology class this week! Studies have shown that when students use computers at school it positively influences their academic achievement, makes them more active participants in the classroom, & prepares them for the ever-changing & digitizing workforce.

Tonight at 12 midnight is your last chance to purchase PRE-SALE Meat Raffle Tickets at a discounted price, after that the price goes up! Don't miss out on the most fun you've ever had at a Meat Raffle: https://www.stmaryschoolswormville.org/o/school/article/1825099
